Meanwhile Eagles boss,Stephen Keshi still hopes the player can be smuggled back into the team after he was effectively replaced by winger,Ejike Uzoenyi.
A report on FIFA website confirmed the replacement while the Rangers International of Enugu man has been handed Echiejile’s jersey number three.
A top official of the NFF has however criticised Keshi for not waiting till the stipulated 24 hours before Nigeria’s first game deadline set by FIFA for player(s) replacement if he (Keshi) is still nursing hopes of getting Echiejle back into the squad.
