–Players expected to report in Warri for Congo
Super Eagles new media officer, Toyin Ibitoye has informed that the interim Coach Shaibu Amodu will open camp on November 9 in Warri to commence preparation for their 2015 AFCON qualifier against Congo in Pointe Noire.
In a chat with Complete Sports, Ibitoye stated that the team will train for some days before departing the country for the venue of the must win encounter.
“The Super Eagles camp will open on November 9 in Warri, Delta State ahead of the AFCON qualifier against Congo,” says Ibitoye.
“They are expected to train for few days in Warri before travelling to Congo for the match.”
After four rounds of matches, the Super Eagles are third in group A with four points and must beat Congo in Pointe Noire to stand a chance of defending their title at next year’s tournament in Morocco.
South Africa top the group with 8 point, Congo occupy the second spot with 7points while Sudan are bottom with three point.
