–Ike Uche, Emenike, Ujah fire blanks; Enyeama concedes 17th goal in Ligue 1
Sone Aluko (HULL CITY): Nigerian midfielder Sone Aluko came on for Alex Bruce in the 59th minute for Hull City who slumped to a 1-0 loss to Swansea. It was Aluko’s 10th appearance for the Tigers this season. The former Rangers winger was yellow carded in the 66th minute of the game.
Kenneth Omeruo (MIDDLESBROUGH): Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo returned to Middlesbrough’s starting line up after five games and could not help the Riverside team from losing 2-0 away at Ipswich Town. Omeruo who has made 11 starts in the Championship season was replaced after 66th minutes.
Odion Ighalo (WATFORD): Nigerian attacker, Odion Ighalo, played the last seven minutes of Watford’s 1-0 win away at Reading. The 25-year-old Ighalo has three goals from 15 Championship games so far.
Victor Anichebe, Brown Ideye (WEST BROM): Nigerian striker, Brown Ideye played all 90 minutes in his fifth start for West Brom lost 3-2 at Queens Park Rangers. Ideye who is yet to score in the EPL was hurled off in the 70th minute for Saido Berahino. His compatriot Anichebe was not listed for the encounter in what would have been his ninth of the campaign.
Sammy Ameobi (NEWCASTLE): In-form Nigerian winger, Sammy Ameobi, was replaced in the 89th minute of Newcastle’s 1-0 loss against Sunderland on Sunday. The 22-year-old was replaced by Remy Cabella. Ameobi has played 13 games and has scored once for Newcastle.
Vincent Enyeama (LILLE): Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama conceded two goals in action for Lille as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Olympique Marseille at the Velodrome. The 32-year-old shot stopper who has kept only seven clean sheets so far this term has conceded 17 goals in 17 Ligue 1 starts this season.
Elderson Echiejile (MONACO): Nigerian defender, Elderson Echiejile was not listed for Monaco who pipped Metz by a lone goal on Saturday. Echiejile has played seven Ligue 1 games scoring once.
Anthony Ujah (Cologne): Nigeria striker Anthony Ujah fired blanks in his 15th Bundesliga game for Cologne who lost 2-1 against Wolfsburg on Saturday. Ujah played the entire duration of the encounter.
Chinedu Obasi (Schalke 04): Nigerian striker Chinedu Obasi was missing in action for Schalke in their 0-0 draw at home to Hamburger SV. Obasi has made six Bundesliga appearances.
Emmanuel Emenike (Fenerbache): Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike fired blanks in Fenerbache’s 1-0 away win against KAYSERI ERCIYESSPOR. Emenike has failed to score in six games. His last goal was against Besiktas. The former Karabukspor forward was replaced by Alper Potuk in the 68th minute. He has played 13 Super Lig games and has scored twice.

Nnamdi Oduamadi (CROTONE): Nnamdi Oduamadi was an unused substitute for Crotone in their 1-0 loss away to Varese on Saturday. The AC Milan loanee has scored once in 10 Serie B appearances.
Efe Ambrose (CELTIC): Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose played all 90 minutes for Celtic who suffered their first Scottish Premiership defeat since October as Dundee United recorded a 2-1 win at Tannadice Park.
Goals from Nadir Ciftci and Stuart Armstrong secured all three points for United, who move into second place.With Ciftci influential throughout,the 22-year-old took advantage of a mistake by Ambrose after five minutes to open the scoring, the striker calmly steering his eighth goal of the season past Craig Gordon. It was his 12 SPL appearance this season.
Olanrewaju Kayode (Maccabi Netanya): Former Flying Eagles forward, Olanrewaju Kayode, failed to add to his five goal tally for Maccabi Netanya who lost 2-0 against Hapoel Tel Aviv that failed to handed Harmony Ikande his 13th start. It was Kayode’s 13th start of the campaign in the Ligat Ha’al.
Success Isaac (GRANADA): Former Flying Eagles forward Isaac Success was an unused substitute in Granada’s 2-1 loss away to Espanyol on Sunday. Success has scored once in 12 La Liga appearances. Granada who are 16th on the log with 12 points from 15 games, are winless in 11 games and two points above the relegation zone.
Ikechukwu Uche (VILLARREAL): Super Eagles striker Ikechukwu Uche failed to score in his fifth straight game in all competition for Villarreal who registered their seventh consecutive win in all competitions thanks to a 3-0 victory over Deportivo la Coruna on Sunday. Uche was replaced in the 46th minute by Giovani dos Santos. He has scored four goals in 15 appearances.
Ayodele Adeleye (OFI): Nigerian defender Ayodele Adeleye was on for 90 minutes and got a yellow card in the 50th minute as his team OFI lost away to Platanias. Adeleye has now seen action 14 times this term.
Daniel Adejo (Kalloni): Nigerian defender Daniel Adejo featured throughout the 90 minutes as Kalloni were thrashed 5-0 at home by Olympiakos. The game was Adejo’s 13th so far.
Uche Nwofor (Lierse): Super Eagles striker Uche Nwofor replaced Alhassane Keita on 76 minutes but could do anything as his team were walloped 6-0 against Charleroi.
The game was Nwofor’s seventh of the season. Last week, he opened his goal account for Lierse when he scored in a 3-3 draw against Westerlo.
