Eagles Train Under Heavy Rain

–Big Boss thrilled by players focus

Super Eagles have shown their readiness to ensure that Nigeria qualify for the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Morocco as they defied the heavy rain in Calabar yesterday to train ahead of the Saturday’s encounter with the Red Devils of Congo Brazzaville.

The players who would have ordinarily stayed back in their hotel rooms insisted they would train in the rain and it was to the delight of Coach Stephen Keshi who also expressed his happiness with the players’ decision.

Complete Sports can report that not only the players that defied the rain, team officials which comprised of Coach Stephen Keshi, Ike Shorunmu, Daniel Amokachie and Nwandinu Valerel were all in the train to ensure everything went well ahead of the crucial match billed to hold at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.

Not less than 20 players took part in the training which also confirmed the readiness of the players to win the encounter as they will travel to Cape Town on Monday for the match against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Meanwhile, most of the players are confident that Nigeria will win the match.
