Super Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile, has expressed delight following his first training session with his new team Standard Liege on Wednesday.
Echiejile moved from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco to Standard Liege on a one-year loan deal this summer.
The former Sporting Braga left-back made 20 appearances for Monaco last season.
"It was good to have my first training session with my new teammates," he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
Elderson could make his debut for Standard Liege when they take on Wilfred Ndidi's Genk in the league on Sunday.
The 2013 AFCON-winning left-back was in action for the Super Eagles last Saturday in their 1-0 win against Tanzania in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
