Chuba Akpom could make his debut appearance for Arsenal this season in today's (Tuesday) Third Round English Football League Cup away tie against Nottingham Forest as manager Arsene Wenger look set to ring the changes.
Akpom was one of Arsenal's standout performers during pre-season, scoring four goals .
Unlike his compatriot, Alex Iwobi, Akpom is yet to feature for Arsenal since the season kicked off.
According to standard.co.uk, Akpom along with youngsters; Chris Willock, Krystian Bielik and Jeff Reine-Adelaide, should be in line for a starting place against Forest.
Also established players like Kieran Gibbs, David Ospina and new signing Rob Holding are expected to feature with wenger likely to rest the majority of those involved in Saturday's 4-1 win against Hull City.
