Super Eagles winger Victor Moses is expected to make his first start of the season for Chelsea when the Blues take on Bristol Rovers in the English Football League (EFL) Cup (formerly Capital One Cup) at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Antonio Conte-led side will look to secure their third win in a row before this weekend's home clash against Burnley who were 2-0 winners over Liverpool on Saturday.
Moses who played as a late substitute in Chelsea's wins over West Ham and Watford could replace Eden Hazard on the flank.
Chelsea have started off the campaign much better than a Bristol Rovers side who have not had such an easy start to life in League One.
The club won promotion to the division in May, but Rovers have since lost two games, drawn another and won just once since the campaign began.
Moses has also been called up for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Taifa Stars Tanzania in Uyo.
In other fixtures, Carl Ikeme will hope to keep his third clean sheet in the campaign when Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Cambridge United.
The 30-year-old has kept two clean sheets in four Championship games.
At Vicarage Road, Odion Ighalo will be seeking his first goal in Watford's home clash against Gillingham after firing blanks against Southampton and Chelsea.
