Egbuchulam Bags 15th League Goal In Sweden As Onyekuru Returns For Galatasaray

By Johnny Edward:
Chisom Egbuchulam scored his 15th league goal of the season for his Swedish second division side Falkenbergs in their 2-2 draw against Norrby reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Egbuchulam shot his side into in the 49th minute but it wasn’t enough to earn maximum points as Jasin khayat ensured Norrby earned a share of the spoils with a leveller in the 65th minute.

Egbuchulam now leads the Swedish second division with 15 goals from 25 games, one goal more than Andri Bjarnason of league leaders Helsingborg.

The draw moved Falkenbergs to within one point of leaders Helsingborg.

In Turkey, Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru played for 86 minutes on his return from injury in Galatasaray’s 2-2 home draw against Fenerbahce in Friday’s Turkish Super Lig encounter at the Telekom stadium.

The game was his 10th appearance in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

The Nigerian international who missed his side’s last two league games against Matalayaspor and Bursaspor due to a thigh muscle strain posted a decent performance for Galatasaray who moved up to second spot following the draw.
Ryan Donk gave Galatasaray the lead after 31 minutes off a corner kick from Serdar Aziz.
Martin Linnes made it 2-0 two minutes into the second half from another corner.
Fenerbahce fought back and got a goal through a penalty from Mathieu Valbuena.
The Frenchman provided an assist for Jailson to draw Fenerbahce level in the 72nd minute.
Onyekuru will be hoping to make his third appearance for Galatasaray next Tuesday when they face Schalke 04 at the Veltins Arena.
The 21 year old has been named as one of the five standby players for Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa which will hold on the 17th November, 2018.
