Enugu Rangers forward, Chisom Egbuchulam, could join a top Swedish club before the end of the transfer window in the Scandinavian nation, the player has informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
The forward’s agent has been in Sweden discussing Egbuchulam’s potential move to Europe despite being registered for the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League season and the CAF Champions League by Rangers.
The 22 year old forward who is yet to feature for the Flying Antelopes this season told Completesportsnigeria.com that contractual issues with the reigning NPFL champions have denied him a chance to return to action.
"For now I’m still training with Rangers, and I hope all these issues will be sorted out very soon,” Egbuchulam told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"My representatives are in talks with tops Swedish teams and a deal could be sealed before the close of the Swedish winter transfer window."
The Swedish transfer window will close on the 31st of March 2017.
Egbuchulam also said he had no regrets over his botched move to Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
"I don’t have any regret over the failed move to Tunisia because issues like that happen in football. I’m focussed on helping Rangers if I get the chance to play,” he stated.
