Eguavoen: Keshi Should Remain Focused

–Ex-Eagles handler counsels Big Boss

Former Super Eagles handler, Austin Eguavoen has urged senior national team coach Stephen Keshi to be focused ahead of the 2015 African Cup of Nations double header qualifiers against Sudan, saying he should not allow the issue of contract extension to distract his attention.

Keshi who claimed to have met all the conditions given to him when he came on board in November 2011, has been battling with contract extension since after the World Cup in Brazil and Eguavoen who led Nigeria to the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt said he needs to be focused to get the needed results against Sudan.

“I think we should all support Keshi and do things that will encourage him rather than making him feel that his efforts are not appreciated, the two matches against Sudan are very crucial and we should not miss one from the two,” says Eguavoen.

“Keshi has been on the job for a while now and he has done so much to take this team to where it is today, I can only tell him to remain focused and make sure that the issue of contract extension does not distract his focus. I know how it feels for a coach to go into crucial games without having solid contract and mostly when he is expected to perform magic, so we should support him and also pray for the team as well.

Nigeria will need maximum points in the two matches to remain in contention for the 2015 African Cup of Nations after losing 3-2 to the Red Devils of Congo and managed a draw with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in their last two games in the qualifiers.

So Keshi is begging for coaching Eagles now is it not same Keshi that is proud last time that he has up to six offers and asking for 18 to 20Million Naira, why is he begging now? ALL WE ARE SAY CALL SIASIA BACK OOOOOH……!!! NFF SHOULD CALL SIASIA BACK BECAUSE KESHI IS NOT A GOOD COACH…. periods… Keshi can’t win any friendly matches before world cup and rarely win one match in the last world cup with help of referee every time he said he is building team since 2012 still he can’t form a team for Nigerian to boast of… He like to invited a players who he knows he can get Eguje or sell to europe he should go now his time is over.
