Former Super Eagles Coach Austin Eguavoen believes that with the support of every Nigerian, including members of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, newly unveiled Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh can build a team close to the 1994 Class of Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles, coached then by Dutchman Clemence Westerhof, won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and featured in the FIFA World Cup in the United States of America same year.
“Let me join other Nigerians to congratulate Oliseh as the new Eagles coach, he has the experience of football, and he has also played the game at the highest level, but he needs the support of every Nigerian, including members of the NFF to excel,” Eguavoen states.
“If we give him the confidence and support he needs, he can build a strong team that will be close to the Class of 1994, but it involves a lot of hard work and patience. And with the the way he has started, I can only wish him all the best.”
former Juventus player, Oliseh, who arrived Nigeria Tuesday night from his base, was unveiled in Abuja by the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federationm, NFF.
