Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma is confident his team will beat Tunisia's Club Africain in their matchday day 5 clash in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium Port Harcourt on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Tunisians are tied on six points with Rivers United but have a better goal difference of +1 while Rivers have a -1 goal difference.
Group leaders FUT Rabat also have six points with a +2 goal difference. Interestingly bottom-placed KCCA have six points with a -2 goal difference.
Eguma's side lost the first leg fixture 3-1 but the Pride of Rivers coach is looking forward to finishing the Group A of the competition on a flourish.
"North African teams are extremely good so we know we have a huge game on our hands, " Eguma told Completesportsnigeria.com on Friday.
"Our last two group matches (against Club Africain and FUT Rabat) are teams that we do not want to lose to so we can possibly top the table with victories.
"We have lost twice away from home but we want to ensure that we finish top."
Rivers United dropped to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup after their elimination in the first round of this year's CAF Champions League by Sudanese club Al-Merreikh.
