Egwuekwe: We Won’t Disappoint In Sudan

–Eagles defender assures Nigerians ahead Sudan clash

Nigeria defender, Azubuike Egwuekwe has assured Nigerians that Super Eagles will do everything possible to achieve a result against Sudan that will enhance their Morocco 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.

The Warri Wolves center-back who has been a regular face in the Super Eagles call up since the reign of Stephen Keshi as manager stated that as African champions, not qualifying to defend their crown in Morocco next year will not augur well with the team.

“We know what’s at stake, we are pushed to the wall and it’s for us now to bounce back and I’m confident that will start in the game against Sudan”, Egwuekwe said Thursday before the team departed for Sudan.

“We’ll fight with the last drop of our blood, it won’t be easy because they too want to win having lost their first game at home.

“We want Nigerians to support us with their prayers, on our part, we are determined and will work hard enough to get the result we want”.

Super Eagles are third on the group log with a point from two games while Sudan are last on the table without a point after losing all two games against South Africa (0-3) and Congo (0-2).

PLS DO THE TALKING ON THE PITCH AND STOP ALL THESE YOUR NEWSPAPER BRAG. WE HAVE ALL THIS IN THE PAST ONLY TO COME BACK WITH EXCUSES LIKE THE TURF WAS BAD, REFEREE WAS AGAINST US , WE WERE UNLUCKY ETC.

ANYWAY, WE JUST PRAY THAT GOD HELP US TO WIN BECOS NIGERIAN CAN`T AFFORD TO MISS OUT BUT BY AND LARGE, PERSONALLY TO ME MR KESHI HAS LOST IT, THOUGH HE HAS TRIED BY LIFTING THE NATION CUP AND QUALIFYING FOR THE WORLD CUP ETC BUT HIS BEST IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH SO FAR WITH WHAT I AM SEEING, WHILE HIS HUMAN RELATIONS WITH HIS PLAYER HAS BEEN THE POOREST SO FAR COMPARE TO OTHER COACHES, ALSO LOOKING AT THE NUMBER OF MATCHES PLAYED AND WON. HE HAS TRIED HAS A MAN NO DOUBT BUT I THINK THE SUPER EAGLES DESERVE A BETTER COACH HAS KESHI BEST IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. GOOD LUCK TO SUPER EAGLES IN SUDAN. GOD BLESS NIGERIA
