Egypt will play a friendly game against Senegal in Dubai on October 8 in preparation for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against Nigeria, reports completesportsnigeria.com.
Additionally, the Egyptian Football Federation are planning to play Burkina Faso in another friendly on October 12. If the Burkinabes are not available, the Pharaohs will again play Senegal either in Cairo or in Dubai.
The EFA announced last week the Pharaohs would take on Cameroon and Australia on October 8 and October 13 respectively, but later said both games have been cancelled.
Egypt will also take on the winner of the play-off tie between Sierra Leone and Chad in November to kick start their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
Nigeria have also planned two friendlies for October against Congo and Cameroon in Brussels, Belgium.
Both countries will clash twice in March next year in the AFCON qualifiers.
Egypt currently top the table with six points, while Nigeria sit in second position with four points.
