Ejidike Congratulates Eagles

–Wants team to be focused

The Nigeria Pillar of Sports Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike has described Super Eagles 3-1 victory over Sudan as incredible and called on the players not to relent in their pursuit to qualify the country for the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.

When asked about the performance of the Super Eagles in their 3-1 victory against Sudan, Ejidike told Complete Sports that the Nigeria senior national team has proven to the visitors that they are truly African champions but urged them to replicate what they did against Sudan in their remaining two games.

“I’m impressed with the victory, it was a deserved one, I think there is hope for us to advance as runners-up in this group if we can get six points from our remaining matches,” begins Ejidike.

“We need total resilience and more of creativity in games, we have big mountains to climb before we can be part of Morocco 2015 but I believe that challenges are the foods of champions,” Ejidike said.

Nigeria would be away to Congo on 14th November and host South Africa on 19th.
