–Says Siasia, Amuneke represent future Super Eagles coaching crew
Golden Eaglets’ 3-1 thrashing of their Zambian counterpart over the weekend in Niamey which handed the Nigeria youngsters a ticket to this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile later this year has been described as a true reflection of the large pool of talents that abound in the country as well as technical expertise of the coaching crew led by Emmanuel Amuneke.
President of the Karate Federation of Nigeria, KFN, Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike made the remark following the Eaglets 3-1 win over Zambia in the on-going CAF U-17 Championship in Niamey, Niger Republic.
He pointed out that the feat which qualified the Nigeria youngsters a ticket for the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup where the team will defend the cup it won two years ago, has indeed proved that they underrated Guinea in their earlier group A second match.
“They have proved that they are prepared for the championship and that they underrated Guinea in their earlier match”, Ejidike said.
“By qualifying for the U-17 World Cup later in the year in Chile, the Eaglets have shown that this country has a large pool of talents and that it’s a sign they can defend the FIFA World Cup in Chile.
