–Former Nigeria international warns Keshi’s team
Your expectation as Nigeria face Congo…
Like every Nigerian, all I will be expecting is total victory, so as to put us back on track for a possible qualification for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations. The players and the coaching staff should give their all in other to make our goal a reality.
How best do you think Keshi and his men should approach the game?
He has his own approach to every game and I know the Congo tie won’t be an exception. He should just advise his players not to underrate their opponent and they should all try and play as a team.
Is the return of IK Uche helping the team?
Ikechukwu Uche’s return is a good one for the team and a sigh of relief from the Super Eagles coaching crew, having received a lot of criticisms for not including the Spain based forward into the national team, even though he is consistent for his club side. Uche should do his best and also try as much as possible to yield to his coaches advice and play as a team. He should not put much pressure on himself during the game.
Your advice for the team having played against the Congolese team in the past..
Everything will be against the Super Eagles, the weather and the fans, so the players should just make sure they lift their game above the Congolese team in Point Noire, if they want to come out victorious and they should try and not be intimidated with their opponent’s tricks.
