Nigerian striker Blessing Eleke was on target as his side Olimpija Ljubljana beat NK Turnisce 2-0 away in the Slovanian Cup on Wednesday.
Eleke, who was the subject of racial abuse in Slovenia recently, set Olimpija on the path to victory when he put them in front in the 35th minute.
In the 85th minute, Leon Benko doubled Olimpija’s lead to end the clash 2-0.
Eleke has scored two goals in seven league appearances so far in this current campaign.
Olimpija’s next game comes up against Gorica in the PrvaLiga, the Slovenian top flight, on Sunday.
