Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike has admitted he needs urgent help after his goal drought extended to five games in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Nigerian international told Turkish daily Fanatik that his recent performances for the Yellow Canaries are not a true reflection of his talent as he’s finding it difficult to concentrate.
“I did not score against Sivasspor and this makes me very sad. Please sir, help me,” he was quoted as telling the Turkish media after failing to score in Fenerbahce’s 4-1 victory over Sivasspor on Friday.
“I’m working hard and I try to give more than I’m capable of but I think I’m having concentration problems.”
Emenike has scored twice in 13 league games with his last strike against Besiktas in November.
Fenerbache are away to Bayburt Genclikspor in the Turkish Cup tomorrow and Emenike will be hoping to score.
