Al-Ain newest signing Emmanuel Emenike has vowed to bang in the goals for the United Arab Emirates club as he replaces Shanghai-bound Asamoah Gyan.
The Super Eagles striker landed in Abu Dhabi on Thursday to complete his one-year loan move from Fenerbahce.
Afterwards, he assured his new club’s fans he would produce his best form for them.
“I’ll be keen to show my best potential to prove I deserve the confidence placed in me by Al Ain Club management, technical staff and the fans,” Emenike said.
“I’m also aware I’ve just moved to a football club enjoying a great value and standing with remarkable football stars. Personally, I’m glad to join and share with them the responsibility of defending our club’s logo within an environment of one family. I look forward to delighting our fans in conjunction with my teammates.”
He has since been offered the No.9 jersey by the club.
Emenike officially joined Al Ain on Thursday as replacement for the Ghanaian striker, Asamoah Gyan, who moved to China.
