England will face the Super Eagles and Costa Rica friendlies leading up to the Russia 2018 World Cup, the Football Association are set to confirm.
England will play Tunisia, Panama and Belgium in their group games in Russia.
Nigeria are in the same group as Croatia, Iceland and old foes Argentina.
The Mirror reported on Wednesday that England will play Costa Rica at Leeds United’s Elland Road ground on Thursday, June 7, which will be their final home game before leaving for Russia.
The Three Lions are up against the Super Eagles at the iconic Wembley on June 2.
The FA are yet to confirm the games, and Completesportsnigeria.com has written to the body to seek confirmation of the Super Eagles friendly.
An automated response from the FA said the body would get back to us shortly.
England also have two friendlies with the Netherlands and Italy on March 23 and 27 respectively as they build up to the World Cup.
England defeated Nigeria 1-0 in a highly entertaining friendly at the old Wembley in 1994 with David Platt scoring the only goal.
