Manchester United have qualified for the round of 16 of the Europa League after defeating Saint-Etienne 1-0 in the second leg of their round of 32 tie in France on Wednesday.
United are through 4-0 on aggregate after winning the first leg 3-0 at Old Trafford last Thursday.
United's goal was scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 17th minute after finishing off a brilliant cross from Juan Mata.
However in the 25th minute, United were forced into an early substitution as Mkhitaryan went off injured and was replaced by Marcus Rashford.
United were reduced to 10 men in the 63rd minute following Eric Bailly's red card.
Bailly had been cautioned just three minutes earlier before his sending off.
In Turkey, Fenerbahce, without former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting FC Krasnodar who progressed 2-1 on aggregate.
Fedor Smolov gave Krasnodar the lead in the seventh minute before Souza drew Fenerbahce level on 41 minutes.
And in Germany, Schalke 04 booked their place into the last 16 after being held 1-1 by PAOK Thessaloniki.
Schalke went through 4-1 on aggregate following their 3-0 first leg win in Greece.
Alessandro Schoepf opened scoring for Schalke in the 23rd minute but an own goal from former Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic, made it 1-1.
