Hapoel Beer-Sheva midfielder, John Ogu, is disappointed his side slumped to their first Europa League defeat to Sparta Praga in Thurday's fixture in Israel, reports Completesportsnigeria.
The Nigeria international who played his third game in the competition on the night took to Twitter to express his disgust at his side's loss in the encounter.
The defeat however sees Hapoel Beer-Sheva dropping to third position on the log in Group K with an inferior goal difference.
Sparta Praha now lead the group, followed by English Premier League side Southampton who lost to Inter Milan.
Ogu who is on the radar of the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr for next month’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria, praised the efforts of his teammates and urged them to keep working hard in a bid to return to winning ways.
"Sad way to have lost, but I am proud of the team and our fans for a wonderful support .We keep working and looking forward to the upcoming games," Ogu tweeted.
Hapoel Beer-Sheva are away to Sparta Prague in the reverse fixture on the 3rd of November.
