Nigeria goalkeeper, Austin Ejide is relishing the prospect of returning to the Europa League with his Israeli club, Hapoel Be’er Sheva in 2015/2016 season.
Be’er Sheva are in second position in the Ligat ha’Al log behind Maccabi Tel Aviv as the playoffs drag to a close.
Ejide’s club are also in the final of the Israeli cup and will come up against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final.
“We’re likely to play in the Europa League next year”, the bulky shot-stopper enthused.
“We’re in the Cup final, we are also second in the league with the playoffs coming to an end.
“So either way, we could have a shot at the Europa League next season at worst.”
The former Bastia of France and Etoile Sahel of Tunisia goaltender made his Europa League debut last term but were bundled out in the first round.
