Everton and Swansea have agreed of £45 million for Icelandic star Gylfi Sigurdsson.
According to Press Association, Sigurdsson will undergo a medical on Wednesday to complete his transfer to Goodison Park, which has dragged on for weeks.
Swansea initially insisted the 27-year-old Sigurdsson would cost £50m, but they have now agreed to let him join Everton for £5m less.
Sigurdsson joined Swansea from Tottenham Hotspur in 2014 and emerged as the Swans top player.
On Tuesday, Gareth Barry, 36, completed his move from Everton to West Brom.
“I want to come and help the team. That’s always been the same for me wherever I have played,” Barry said on West Brom’s official website. “I want to help the team improve, work hard and hopefully add quality.”
