Nigerian forward, Imoh Ezekiel, was on target for Anderlecht in their 3-1 home win against Club Brugge in the Belgian league on Sunday.
Ezekiel scored in the 47th minute of the encounter. He later made way for Frank Acheampong on 62 minutes. Other scorers for Anderlecht were Stefano Okaka and Dennis Praet.
In France, Super Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile, saw 90 minutes of action in Monaco’s 1-0 away win against Reims. The only goal for Monaco was scored by Bernardo Silva in the 11th minute.
Former Eagles forward, Bartholomew Ogbeche, was substituted as early as the 36th minute for Xander Houtkoop as Cambuur held Ado Den Haag to a 1-1 draw.
Also in Holland, Nigerian forward, Abiola Dauda, was an unused substitute in Vitesse 3-1 home loss to Ajax. While Chelsea loanee Dominic Solanke played for 90 minutes.
In the Greek Super League, Nigerian striker Brown Ideye couldn’t add to his two-goal tally of the season as Olympiakos beat Atromitos 2-1.
Ideye came off for Alfred Finnbogasson in the 90th minute.
And in the Finnish league, former Super Eagles defender, Taye Taiwo, was in action for 90 minutes in HJK’s 1-0 win against KUPS. HJK’s only goal was scored by Ousman Jallow on 76 minutes.
