Ezekiel Wishes Eagles Well

–Urges teammates to remain focus

Nigeria international striker Imoh Ezekiel has urged his teammates to forget Wednesday’s drab draw at home to Al Kharitiyah.

The 20-year old who has scored four goals in six starts believes they’ll come good in their next game away to Al Wakrah.

“We will be better in our next game,” he stated.

Ezekiel who reportedly is Nigeria’s best-paid player, earning about $3.8m per year also wished the Super Eagles luck in next weekend’s AFCON qualifiers away and home to Sudan.

“I believe we will win because we have our back to the wall,”
“The loss against Congo was a one off and will never repeat itself again.”

It is believed the Qatari club has paid $10.8m to sign the player who scored 32 goals in 91 matches for Standard Liege.

Ezekiel made his debut for Nigeria as a second-half substitute during their friendly against Mexico in Georgia, Atlanta on March 5.

But he was left out of Stephen Keshi’s provisional 30-man squad for the World Cup in Brazil.
