Super Eagles second choice goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has allayed fears he could miss next month's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying fixture against Zambia due to injury, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ezenwa was substituted in the 70th minute for Uche Okafor in IfeanyiUbah's hard fought 1-0 win against Oriental rivals Enyimba in a
Nigeria Professional Football League match-day 37 fixture on Sunday.
The former Sunshine Stars goalie who is part of the 23 players shortlisted for the game against the Chipolopolo billed for the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium, Ndola on October 9 informed Completesportsnigeria.com he is fit and ready for the game.
"I only had a minor cramp in the game against Enyimba and there is nothing serious about it," the former junior international disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It's normal to have this type of injury when you play too many games within a short period like we have done in the NPFL this season.
"I'm fully fit and ready for the game against Zambia and will be in camp with my colleagues next week."
