FA Cup 4th Round: Musa Subbed On, Ndidi Benched As Leicester Hold Derby

Struggling Leicester City forced Championship team Derby County to a 2-2 draw in the English FA Cup fourth round tie at Pride Park on Friday night.

Leicester City's first came via an own goal by Darren Bent, and the second, a late strike from Wes Morgan, while Bent and Craig Bryson were on target for Derby.

Nigeria International Ahmed Musa replaced Marc Albrighton on 74 minutes, but compatriot Wilfred Ndidi was benched throughout the game.

The draw means Derby are unbeaten at Pride Park since Steve McClaren took charge in October 2016 (W7 D23).

Bent gifted Leicester the lead on eight minutes following an unfortunate own goal.

In the 21st minute Bent made up for the early setback by drawing Derby County level. Bryson made it 2-1 on 40 minutes in what was thought to be the winning goal for Derby.

But in the 87th minute Morgan saved Leicester's blushes by making it 2-2 to force a Fourth Round replay.
