Tottenham Hotspur pipped Championship club Aston Villa 2-0 in a hard-fought clash at White Hart Lane in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Spurs join the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Leicester City into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino made nine changes from the side that defeated Chelsea 2-0 in the Premier League last Wednesday.
The likes of Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertongen, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama did not feature in the win against Aston Villa.
Two-goal hero against Chelsea Dele Alli was however introduced in the 60th minute for Vincent Janssen.
After an evenly balanced first half, Spurs had to wait until the 71st to go 1-0 up through Ben Davies who glanced his effort into the bottom right corner off a cross from Georges N’Koudou.
And in the 80th minute Heung-Min Son made it 2-0 after dispatching Moussa Sissoko’s cutback.
