Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, says Vincent Kompany are in line to feature against Crystal Palace in their FA Cup Fourth Round clash on Saturday at Selhurst Park after a period of an injury-induced layoff, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Speaking at his Friday's press conference, Guardiola revealed that new signing Gabriel Jesus could make his first start for City.
Guardiola also disclosed that Willy Caballero will be in goal against Palace.
"We will see tomorrow (Kompany's availability), but he’s fit and ready. The last game, he was on the bench which means he’s ready.”
"Gabriel Jesus is fit and he’s already had three weeks with us. We will see tomorrow (if he will feature).”
"We are going to play Willy Caballero. I try to involve everyone. It depends on what I see against the opponents and in training.”
Commenting on the game, Guardiola will be like a final for them following their recent poor form.
"Of course, we want to go through and win that competition. Tomorrow is a final for us.”
