Tottenham Hotspur defeated AFC Wimbledon 3-0 to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday. A brace from Harry Kane and a goal from Jan Vertonghen sealed a comfortable win for Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham dominated all through the first half but failed to score.
At the start of second half, AFC Wimbledon defended well for the first 15 minutes but conceded twice in two minutes.
Kane opened scoring for Spurs, tapping in Moussa Sissoko’s cross from close range for his 25th goal of the season in the 64th minute of the game.
He doubled the lead in the 66th minute, firing in Kyle Walker-Peters deflected shot into the net from that range.
Vertonghen wrapped up the win with the third strike for Tottenham in the 71st minute.
