Manchester United eased past League 2 side Yeovil Town into the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 4-0 win at Huish Park on Friday night.
On a night Alexis Sanchez was making his Manchester United debut, Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku scored for the 2016 FA Cup winners.
Rashford opened scoring in the 40th minute as United finally broke Yeovil’s resistance, taking advantage of hesitant defending as the home defence failed to deal with a pass from the lively Sanchez.
Herrera fired in United’s second off a Sanchez assist in the 61st minute, while substitutes Lingard and Lukaku finished off the hosts in the 89th and 93rd minutes.
In the other FA Cup fourth round tie on the night, Sheffield Wednesday defeated Sone Aluko’s Reading 3-1 to advance.
