West Ham missed the chance to go fourth in the Premier League table after they were forced to a 2-2 draw by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Manuel Lanzini and Andy Carroll were on target for West Ham, while Cesc Fabregas had a brace for Chelsea.
In action for West Ham were Mikel Obi and Emmnuel Emenike.
West Ham had a chance in the 5th minute but Fabregas blocked Cresswell’s cross for a corner.
Chelsea made a break away through Kenedy who found Loic Remy but the move was flagged for offside.
Remy was presented with a chance off a Cesc Fabregas pass but Adrian made a good save from his near post.
Manuel Lanzini put West Ham in front on 17 minutes, off a superb 25-yard. Strike which fouund the top corner.
Kenedy made a run towards West Ham goal but saw his shot go over the bar.
Willian had a chance after Oscar spotted him with a pass but it was deflected for a corner.
Chelsea was denied a penalty after Gary Cahill’s strike came off the arm of Enner Valencia.
Fabregas clipped a pass over West Ham’s defence but Remy couldn’t get enough power in his backward which was claimed by Adrian.
Cresswell almost doubled West Ham’s lead only to see his shot deflect off Ivanovic for a corner.
Fabregas drew Chelsea level on the stroke of half-time with a fine free-kick after Winston Reid fouled Oscar on the edge of the box.
Before the start of the second half, Pedro replaced Kenedy.
Dimitri came close to grabbing West Ham’s second goal but Terry made a clearance.
Oscar connected with ivanovic’s cross only to narrowly miss the target.
Terry almost connected a header towards Ivanovic off a Fabregas free-kick but Adrian punched away.
Ogbonna made a quick clearance for a corner following Ivanovic’s low cross.
West Ham broke with Sakho who finds Cresswell but his left shot strike the cross bar and went for a goal kick.
West Ham made their first change with Andy Carroll replacing Sahko.
Adrian made a brilliant save off Remy, who held off Reid before unleashing a right foot shot.
Carroll made it 2-1 to West Ham in the 61 th minute, finishing off Payet’s pass.
Reid made a good block off substitute Bertrand Traore’s left-foot shot.
Oscar came close following a right-foot shot but it deflected off Ogbonna for a corner.
The resultant corner was headed just over the bar by Fabregas.
Fabregas attempted an overhead kick after Oscarks rebound but it went over the bar.
Emanuel Emmanuel was introduced for Valencia in the 75th minute.
Terry made a good lip and connected with a Fabregas corner but it went over the bar.
Payet came close to extend West Ham lead but his curler was blocked away for a corner.
Carroll headed the corner towards goal but Courtois parried it away for another corner.
In the 82nd minute, Cahill headed just wide off a fabregas corner.
Mikel hit a long range strike outside West Ham’s box in the 85th minute but it went wide.
Emenike did well to muscle is way pass Azpilicueta but his cross was cleared away by Ivanovic for a corner.
From the corner, Traore made a goal line clearance after Carroll’s header.
Fabregas made it 2-2 from the penalty on 89 minutes after Loftus-Cheek was brought own.
Courtois made a brilliant save off a Payet’s well taken free-kick.
Loftus-Cheek almost scored the winner in added time after turning inside the box but scuffed his shot off target.
West Ham are fifth on 50 point, while Chelsea are 10th.
