Emem Eduok is a transfer target for Portuguese giants FC Porto, according to reports coming out of Tunisia after a fine start to his career in the colours of Esperance in Tunisia Ligue 1.
SL10.ng scooped from the media in Tunisia that Eduok who has four goals from six games was reportedly scouted by FC Porto, during yesterday’s game against Marsa, which Esperance won 3-1 and Eduok had a hand in all of the goals scored by his team.
The 22 year old scored a brace and provided an assist and was roundly voted by the club fans as the man of the match but, if reports is anything to go by, they might be losing their Nigerian jewel soon as early as the summer of 2015.
FC Porto scouts spotted in the stand during the game are said to be on the lookout for a replacement for top striker Yaccine Brahaimi, who is heavily linked with a move away from the team this summer with AC Milan, Manchester United and Valencia reportedly chasing the Algerian.
Eduok joined Esperance in January from Dolphins after turning down a move to Sarpsborg of Norway amidst claims from the team they have signed him.
He appears to have put the whole drama behind him and his current form will further increase the pressure on the handlers of the Nigeria national team to include him in the Eagles subsequent games after he was omitted from the list of players for the friendly games against Uganda and South Africa
