In the end, it was Crown, who had beaten Enugu Rangers in the previous round, who progressed further in the competition.
At the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu, Nasarawa United also beat holders Akwa United 4-2 on penalties to make it to the last four.
The encounter between FC IfeanyiUbah and Warri Wolves was abandoned in the closing stages with the Seasiders claiming two of their goals were wrongly disallowed by the centre referee.
FC IfeanyiUbah were leading at the time following a 31st minute goal by Olamilekan Adeleye.
