FC IfeanuyiUbah will seek to end Nigeria National League side Crown FC's fairytale run in the Federation Cup when both teams confront each other in their semi- final fixture at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Crown who are also in the hunt for a promotion ticket have already sent out Nigeria Professional Football League sides Enugu Rangers and Wikki Tourists from this year' s competition.
But FC IfeanyiUbah forward Bright Onyedikachi is confident they will survive the Ogbomosho-based club's threat and move on to the final.
"The Federation Cup is our only hope of winning silverware this season and we will do our best to ensure we end up as winners," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"But first, we have to beat Crown FC who have done well in the competition this year.
"They are a good side and dangerous too, I believe we have the quality to end their run."
Enyimba and Nasarawa United will clash in the second semi- final on October 9 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
The eventual winner of the competition will represent Nigeria in the 2017 edition of the CAF Confederation Cup.
