Scouts of Turkish giants Fenerbache were in the stands to watch Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo play in Sunday's Portuguese top flight clash between Feirense and Benfica, according to reports.
The Super Eagles star is one of the players the Yellow Canaries are keeping an eye on as they look to bolster their options for next season.
According to Turkish daily, Fotomac, the encounter provided the scouts a perfect opportunity to grade Etebo whose contract runs out in 2018.
The 21-year-old is one of the 24 overseas-based players invited by coach Gernot Rohr for Nigeria's friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso in London later this month.
Nigeria will meet Senegal and Burkina Faso at the Barnet Stadium on March 23 and 27 respectively.
Etebo is expected to arrive Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ealing London on March 20 as the team begins preparations for the games.
Etebo has impressed for Feirense this term, featuring in 13 League games in his debut season in the top flight
