FIFA CWC: Benzema, Ronaldo Score As Madrid Edge Club America, Book Final Spot

Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo hit the back of the net as Real Madrid beat Mexican side, Club America 2-0 on Thursday to book their place  in the final of the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup

The French forward netted the opening  goal two minutes into first half stoppage time.

Ronaldo scored the second in the 93rd minute.

The European champions dominated the game and could have scored more but for their profligacy.

Zinedine Zidane's men will face Japanese side, Kashima Antlers in the final on Sunday.

Antlers booked their place in the final of the competition on Wednesday following a 3-0 win against Colombian side, Atletico Nacional.
