Former Nigeria international Shola Ameobi, 34, has been released by English League One side Fleetwood Town.
This was confirmed on the club's official website on Thursday.
Ameobi, who joined Fleetwood Town in February 2016, was among 14 players whose contracts were not renewed.
The former Newcastle striker, who played for Nigeria at the 2014 World Cup, made 10 appearances, scoring just one goal in the just concluded season with third-tier Fleetwood Town.
After departing Newcastle in 2014, Ameobi joined Turkish side Gaziantep BB, spending just one season.
He returned to the Premier League in January 2015 and signed for Crystal Palace until the end of the season.
Prior to joining Fleetwood Town, he had a stint with Bolton Wanderers.
