Onetime Juventus midfielder and ex-Nigeeia captain, Sunday Oliseh, on Saturday night expressed his delight at the 12th Champions League title triumph of Real Madrid following their 4-1 win in the final against his former club at the Millennium Stadium Cardiff, Completesportsnigeria com reports.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace to take his career goals tally to 600 and his Champions League goals record to 105.
Mario Mandzukic had equalised the portuguese's opener before Casemiro and Marco Asensio scored two more to ensure the Spanish Champions became the first side to defend their Champions League title.
"Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane led Real Madrid are worthy Champions and a pleasure to watch, " Fortuna Sitters coach, Oliseh wrote on his Twitter handle Saturday night.
"Deserved to be first to defend the Champions League, ever. Congrats."
Real Madrid will play Europa League winners Manchester United in the European Super Cup in August, a game between the winners of the Champions League and the winners of the second-tier European football competition, Europa League Cup.
