Home- based Super Eagles defender, Samson Gbadebo is delighted to have finally linked up with his teammates at their Pretoria, training base in South Africa, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The centre- back could not travel with the rest of his colleagues for the training tour on January 2nd due to visa hitch.
The Lobi Stars player was called up as a replacement for the injured Christian Madu, but his travel documents were not submitted to the South African embassy on time.
Gbadebo who linked up with his colleagues at their Protea Hotel base in Pretoria on Thursday told Completesportsnigeria.com that he now look forward to helping his side win the competition.
"It's great to be back with my teammates in camp," Gbadebo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I was confident the visa issue would be sorted out and what is important for me now is to put in my best in training.
"Our target is to win the competition and hopefully we will achieve our objective at the end of the day."
