Former Wigan Warriors star Anthony Gelling has been linked with a switch to Catalans Dragons ahead of the new season. The Cook Islands international enjoyed a season with the New Zealand Warriors in NRL but is set to make a return to Super League next season.
Gelling was originally expected to join Widnes Vikings on a two-year deal, but with the club being relegated for Super League last term he has looked for a new outfit.
Now Gelling is thought to be in the midst of a move to Perpignan and would become Catalans third signing ahead of the new campaign if they can get a deal over the line.
Widnes back-rower Matt Whitley and Wigan Warriors full-back Sam Tomkins have already made the switch to the south of France.
