Germany Olympic football team coach, Horst Hrubesh says his side exploited the weakness in Nigeria's defence for their 2-0 win in the semi-final of the football tournament of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Europeans dominated the game from start to finish, to beat Nigeria 2-0, and will face Brazil in the gold medal match on Saturday.
Hrubesh praised the Nigerians despite his side's dominance in the game, stating that a thorough analysis of the their opponent gave them the win.
"We know their full-backs love to join the attacks and their wingers are mostly out wide, we exploited the space behind to good effect, " Hrusbesh revealed to DFB.

"My players were properly drilled on how to make use of the space behind the Nigerian backline as we found out during our pre-match analysis.
"The Nigerians are a very good side, but we made them pay for giving us space to run behind."
Nigeria will look to claim bronze medal when they confront Honduras in the third place match.
