Ghana U-20 men's team, Black Satellites, have been eliminated from the 2017 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations despite defeating Senegal 1-0 in the return leg played on Friday in Accra, crashing out 3-2 on aggregate.
Senegal won the first leg 3-1 in Dakar a fortnight ago.
The former U-20 AFCON champions' only goal was scored by Charles Boateng in the 30th minute, but it was not enough as the Senegalese held on to qualify for next year's tournament holding in Zambia.
This means Ghana will not be at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup holding in South Korea.
Ghana featured at the 2015 U-20 World Cup in New Zealand where they were knocked out in the second round after losing 3-0 to Mali.
