By Adeboye Amosu: Enyimba goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has set his sights on winning a treble with the club next season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Dauda only joined the Peoples Elephant last season from Ghana Premier League club Ashanti Gold and helped them pick a Confederation Cup ticket after they finished third in the Nigeria Professional Football League table.
The former Black Stars of Ghana goalie is however looking forward to a better campaign next term.
‘We came close to winning the title last season and I believe we can do better next season,” Dauda told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“Our aim is to win the league, the Aiteo Federation Cup as well as the Confederation Cup. We have the experience and the squad is more stronger now than last season.
“I know the pedigree of this club before my arrival and I will do all I can to make sure we achieve our objective next season.
“I understand no Nigerian club has won the Confederation Cup before but we will give our all to win it.”
The Aba club will open their 2017/2018 NPFL campaign against Lobi Stars at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
