Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi say it has put in place strategies to ensure it picks a promotion ticket at the end of the current Nigeria national league (NNL) season.
The team’s Manager, Abdullahi Gimba, made this known in an interview with completesports.
Gimba said that the club had been motivated to excel by the state Governor, Alhaji Isa Yuguda and the chairman of the clubside Suleiman Abdullahi Chindo.

“Our players and the coaches are yearning to continue their superb work towards promotion.
“I’ve said it always that Wikki Tourists don’t belong to the lower league, their rightful place has been in the Premier League and we’re on the right path towards achieving our season’s dream of promotion to the elite league” continues the Team Manager.
“We’re yet to concede a goal especially on home games right from the first stanza till date and we’re determined to keep it that way till the end of the season.
“The players have continued to make us proud with their in-form performances with every
game” he concluded.
Wikki Tourists still lead the NNL Division A on 35 points from a possible 51 in the Nigeria second tier league.
