Giwa 1-0 Enyimba: Ahead Fed. Cup S/final Rematch

–Rangers stun El-Kanemi 2-0, Pillars retain top spot
despite 1-0 defeat at Dolphins

Enyimba International suffered a 1-0 defeat at Giwa FC in what is best described as dress rehearsal ahead Thursday’s Federation Cup semi final clash between the two sides at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.

Edoh Ocheme headed in the eventual match winner 19 minutes after the start. Enyimba completed the rest of the pulsating game with 10 men after striker Mfom Udoh was sent off in the second period.

Lobi Stars edged Heartland 2-1 with Bunde Moses and Joseph Essien scoring for the Evan Ogenyi side while Taraba United turned back Gombe United 1-0 in Jalingo just as Sunshine Stars of Akure defeated Nembe City 1-0 with Gbolahan Salami scoring from the penalty on the dot of 90 minutes.
