Giwa Faults Keshi Removal

A football proprietor, Chris Giwa, has cried out over the removal of former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, by the Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday.

The Amaju Pinnick board of the NFF after a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday removed all the technical crew members of the national team and named Amodu Shaibu as the head of a consortium of coaches to oversee the affairs of the team for the two remaining matches in the Africa nations Cup qualifiers.

However, the proprietor of Giwa FC, Giwa after a meeting with his group on Wednesday in Abuja faulted the move, insisting that Keshi deserved to finish what he had started.

“Emphasis is supposed to be on the two remaining games against Congo and South Africa rather than sacking or hiring of new technical manager at this critical time,” he said.

Giwa enjoined Nigerians to remain hopeful on the chances of the Super Eagles to pick one of the tickets at stake in group A of the ongoing AFCON qualifiers.

    THIS IS NOT FAIR

Immediately Amaju Pinnick was announced as the new NFF chairman I knew KESHI’s days were numbered as the Super Eagles Coach.
I have had personal contacts with both KESHI and AMAJU and it is an OPEN secret that both of them could not work together. Forget all this talk about the NFF doing the needful to save Keshi’s life! This script had long been written by Amaju.
This is the same coach that was instrumental for Nigeria winning the 2013 nations CUP and because he was undergoing some “trying” period the easiest way out was to sack him? This to say the least in unfair, wicked, and disrespectful!
The NFF board members are new and one would have thought that they would have evaluated the situation, allowed the remaining two matches to be concluded, the outcome determined, before taking a decision on Keshi.
It is on record that Keshi was owed salaries for several months, he took charge of the team even without any agreed contract and we believe this is the way we can pay him for all his efforts and patrotism?
Obviously Nigeria will NOT qualify for the 2015 nations Cup. Why? The law of retributive justice prevails!

Does this man know what he is talking about? Which Keshi was sacked? Technically, Keshi was not even the Super Eagles’ coach. The man’s contract expired a long time ago. What NFF did is that they refused to renew his contract based on his porous performance, consequent upon his technical deficiency; full stop.

Now you see why this man could only win an uncoordinated emergency election. So if you had stayed as NFF president, you would have retained a coach like Keshi with this unorganized approach to practical football business in the presence of modern tactics and creative abilities?

Giwa FC should with immediate effect apoint Keshi as their coach. He is also free to negotiate with the 10 interested countries in him.

Those opening their mouth wide against stephen keshi are the enemies of this great football. You are critising keshi for givng us AFCON Cup after so many years. Is it Ahmadu that will improve nigeria football? those of you supporting Ahmadu just want to be connected inordre to eat from Ahmadu shaibu and get cheap money to solve their family problem not for the interest of Nigeria football becuase i know Ahmad Shaibu is not a good coach that will take nigerin to it glory. And i have seen that the NFF and those who voted him in or however they manipulaed him in, is for their selfish interest not for the good of this country football.
