Gold Coast 2018: Nigeria’s Table Tennis Doubles Teams Win; Ogunsanya Loses Again

Nigeria’s men’s table tennis doubles teams recorded 3-0 wins in their respective round of 32 events on Wednesday at the ongoing 2018 Gold Coast Commowealth Games in Australia reports Completesportsnigeria.com

Aruna Quadri partnering Segun Toriola defeated the Jamaican pair of Tomlinson Simon and Watson Kane in three straight sets
(11-3, 11-6, 11-6) in the first doubles match.

While Bode Abiodun and Olajide Omotayo combined perfectly well to beat Khawaja Fahad and Rameez Mohammed from of Pakistan in round of 32.

The Nigerian team won 3-0 (11-1, 11-3,11-4).

In the men’s TT6-10 singles Temitope Ogunsanya lost his second match 3-0 (11-9,11-4,11-4) to Barak Mizrachi from Australia.

While Faith Bazuaye recorded a
3-0 (11-0, 11-2,11-2) over India’s Vaishnavi Sutar in her second game.

Bazuaye currently leads her group after two wins.
